Awareness: To promote environmental conservation, educational programs for children and youth emphasize green practices and plastic-free living. Schools and colleges serve as key platforms, fostering responsibility and sustainable habits among students.

Silent March for Eucalyptus-Free Forests: To mitigate the adverse effects of eucalyptus on agriculture and groundwater, Usirigaagi Hasiru organized Silent Marches across Bayaluseeme districts, engaging farmers and youth and submitting memorandums to authorities. This led to a five-year forest department plan to remove eucalyptus, government bans on eucalyptus and acacia cultivation, and district-level notices restricting plantations. Farmers are now increasingly avoiding eucalyptus, promoting sustainable agriculture and groundwater conservation.

Discouraging Plastic Use: We promote a plastic-free environment through awareness campaigns at temples, hill stations, religious events, and educational institutions. Members clean public spaces and encourage eco-friendly practices, using creative methods such as gifting roses to those carrying plastic and requesting them to either avoid plastic or dispose of it properly in dustbins. By leading through example and engaging with communities, the initiative has inspired the use of cloth bags for gifts and celebrations. All 25 residential schools in Chikkaballapur, along with several in Kolar and Bengaluru Rural districts, have declared themselves plastic-free, fostering greener and more sustainable campuses.
