Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Park: In honor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Usirigaagi Hasiru launched a large-scale afforestation project in Chalakayalaparthi Village, Chikkaballapur. Since 2015, over 4,000 saplings of diverse species have been planted across 16 acres, with community participation. The area has been named "Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Park," and plans are underway to develop it into a Biodiversity Park for public use, ensuring long-term ecological sustainability through active collaboration with stakeholders.
